- Swanson School in Aukland, New Zealand is a Co-educational full-primary school where the primary language is English. The student population is made up of year 1-8 students, with there being about 500 total students. There are many composite classes, where two years are put together in the same classroom. The school year is split up into four terms, with a few weeks of holiday in between each term. There are three deputy principals and one principal at the school. As far as monitoring learning and assessment, homework should never be a burden and the students should have time for play and to form hobbies.
